WORM!

While removing the old pine straw put down by the builder we came across a wiggly little worm. At first Joseph didn't know what to think...

But the little guy warmed right up to the worm quickly...

Daddy and Joseph found wormy a new place to live in the woods, in a pile of old pine straw mulch.

Mulching!

We had a dump-truck load of mulch dropped off on Friday, securing our plans for the weekend.
Have to get it spread so it doesn't sit in our driveway for too long!

Joseph

Skinned knee can't slow this little guy down!  Still willing to smile for the camera even with his little legs all scratched!

What a beautiful day to do yard work here in Raleigh! We have been outside playing and trying to avoid getting a burn. Joseph has discovered bugs; which gave him a lot to look at while daddy and mommy continued to work on making the yard gorgeous.

Please enjoy a quick post of photos on our lunch break, Joseph is napping and I need to get back to work!

Birthday Get-Together

Happy Birthday to Me!

It was great to see so many friends this weekend at our place! Unfortunately, I didn't pick-up my camera as often as I should have and have very few pictures to share. Fortunately, Courtney took a few great ones and forwarded them along to me!!

The Bouncer House was a success!

I had a mouth full of cake in this one...

Mule drawn carriage ride

It was a sunny day and we really lucked out weather-wise for our carriage ride. Our tour guide was a little different but he gave a nice tour of the city so we can't complain! Joseph enjoyed waving to people and saying Hi as we drove by. He reverted to needing his Nuk later in the ride as it was nearing his naptime.

On the last leg of the tour he threw his Nuk out of the carriage! A waiter from a restaurant ran to the road, scooped up the Nuk, and delivered it to the carriage for Joseph. Of course I was saying "No, it's OK, we have others!" but was thankful that the waiter was so thoughtful!! Wow, southern hospitality at it's finest! Charleston is a very friendly city.

Charleston, SC Aquarium

Joseph had a great time at the aquarium. Unfortunately, with the lights and the glass reflecting the flash most of our pictures weren't the greatest.

Fortunately his favorite part of the aquarium were the hands-on activities (which really had little to do with fish) and the pictures turned out pretty well!

Joseph at the Zoo

Joseph, Joe, Grandma and Grandpa Moore went to the N.C.Zoo for a few hours to take advantage of the fabulous weather we've been enjoying.
